Philippine Retirement Authority
Started as a private initiative to promote the Philippines as a major travel destination, the Philippine Tourist & Travel Association was organized in 1950.
In 2012, the DOT began promoting its new slogan "It's More Fun In the Philippines!" to Japanese across the country through various PR events, and hopes to encourage and welcome the people of Japan to visit their country.
The Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) is a government owned and controlled corporation, mandated to attract foreign nationals and former Filipino citizens to invest, reside and retire in the Philippines with the end-view of accelerating the socio-economic development of the country, contributing to the foreign currency reserve of the economy and by providing them the best quality of life in the most attractive package.
Since its 1992 establishment as a public interest corporation authorized by the former Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Long Stay Foundation has been promoting Japanese people’s outbound travel in order to experience the life and culture of the destination country.
